beautiful car and an absolute credit to you. as said by others its the attention to detail that really wins it
altho i'm also with the get some Renault centre caps crew ;)
swear it must of been same bloke, nova looked identical and there was single snap of the chevette on the back of a tow truck (personal one, not AA or out)
Right, heres another one!
I bought this on a whim last week with the initial intention of using the heart of the beast for the turbo and dare I say it, getting rid of boost.
So the plan was to strip this for parts, sell the shell rolling and keep the engine/box/wiring for GTT, sell the...
I've had my time with the williams', had a few over the years and they were brilliant and I would consider one again as a daily. but not right now, too many other cars I want to try!
if however I hadn't run one before, i'd be on it! :) don't get me wrong it probably wont be cheap etc, but for...
I've run several Williams' as dailys over the years but always been on the approach to kill them at the end so basically cost me nowt but servicing occasionally.
they don't fall aparts, they run fine if looked after and are no more a money pit than a 20 year old 182 will be when the time comes ;)
old skool cool remember having a doo with an XR4x4 over cat and fiddle in the winter when I passed my test years ago, in my parents G plate cav 2.0 gli. it handed me my arse, looool!
to be honest my head is so full of plans and ideas I have not a clue what to do at the mo.
long term plan is probably to bin the black 182 for parts, strip the RB back to standard trim, sell the bits and then sell it as a whole car.
meanwhile I'll make one track car from all the mk1 bits...
and I ran, I ran so far away........you know rather than having to face sorting through this load of scrap :)
its all got a bit silly, I've basically gone and bought a tatty replica of the pair of clios I already had! another mk1 track car and another FF 182 runabout!rofl!!
I bought a mark 1 clio, it has some eibach springs in the boot that I suspect are for a 172/182
the part number printed on the spring itself is:
EW 7514001VA
I tried a quick search but couldn't turn up anything solid to tell me exactly what spec they are?
any help much appreciated
thanks
Ben
just a touch!lol!
I've contacted ECP and I hope they'll take it back as in all fairness I didn't just follow the link, I put my reg in and searched for the part as well as I thought that would do as a 'check' but seems not!
