Lol, I agree with Adi, mines done 74, from which I put 30k on it in 2 years, a lot of thrashing and it just sails through its MOT everytime!

The 1.4RT is a fast car to 60 for a 1.4, but as Scribbler said, its not got the pulling power, once you hit 80-90 it really starts to stuggle, well mine does anyway. Ive got some vids of my 1.4RT to 0-60, 40-70 and 50-90, its not 100% accurate I know but gives you an idea of the speed of it...

I thought the 5 was lighter, 1.4 small engine, turbo aint very heavy, big 1.8 16v. I could be wrong though, I usually am :)

The mk1 VTR aint no faster the 1.4RT, the mk2 is a bit faster. Mk1 has 90bhp and 0-60 of around 10 seconds Mk2 has 98bhp I think and around 9 seconds to 60 Ive heard the build quality to be terrible on some VTRs, but as for fun to drive, cheap thrills they cant be beat.

Yeh that GT40 is mental, when it follows that Brava overtaking then floors it, looks like that Fiat is standing still!

Yeh, I think the mk2 v6 blue is the same as the Cups blue, well it looks the same in piccys anyway!

I think they were limited edition ones, but I much prefer that colour to the standard silver, although I prefer the new blue on the mk2 v6!

Is the Cup really as fast a cossie in a straight line? I thought the Cup did 0-60 in late 6 seconds and Cossie mid 5 seconds?

Willy 1s are the only ones without sunroofs I think, better handling because of this so Ive been told! Stronger roof less body roll or summit like that! Sunroof problem happens to a hell of a lot of mk1 Clios though.
