With a keyed crank pulley, if you feed the belt from the crank first and work your way anticlockwise it keeps pretty much all the slack on the left side for the tensioner to take up.

Is it strictly a track car or will it see the road? That will dictate how much you can remove, as you'd still need the airbag ecu in place but just the lights coded out. Track car you could just remove and pull the LED's from the dash cluster.

Looking at the Godspeed kit i think all they need is a small spacer which you'll be able to knock up in work. Being a white car, a fresh silver colour might work?

Lower any support you have and whack the central stud using a long extension bar. The stud is splined so it grips the mount a bit.

There are kits available that people use when removing ABS for race purposes. They run internally though, along with a bias valve. If i were you, i'd remake the hardlines. Some say you loose pedal feel/risk a softer pedal with full braided lines.
