A bit long but help is needed
Recently i have been having problems with my hazard lights turning themselves on. Took it to renault and they said that i needed a new UCH (£408).
This didnt fix the problem and they then replaced the hazard light switch (free).
This didnt fix the problem...
and pull the central locking fuse out of their MK2 clio, and then tell me if the courtesy light goes out, the lights dont come on and it wont start.
Im trying to find out why my hazard lights keep coming on and i think its something to do with this
cheers
dave
Just been landed with a £400 bill to replace the UCH. As the car is 3 weeks out of warranty renault customer services dont want a thing to do with it. I even tried to explain that the UCH has been replaced last year but renault UK are denying this as their computer says "no".
Im so pissed...
looks like my car needs a new UCH and is going in to renault on friday, however i have just looked at it and the manufacture date is february last year and the car is three years old. So it looks like the UCH was replaced sometime last year (before august cos thats when i bought it).
Would it...
went to my car before and the hazard lights were flashing, however the button was not pressed and i had to start the car a switch them on and off manually to stop them flashing. this is the second time that its happened in the last week.
does anyone know whats going on coz i dont want to get...
Dont know if this has been posted before, and dont know how accurate it is. nice to see how a cup compares to the likes of tvrs and ferraris
