You could use the injection & manifold of a megane 1.6 energy ,that set up would give you 4 injectors with a rail , take it your 1.4 is on single point injection ? as they were allot quicker on the weber carb .
Hi well the last one I had with that problem turned out to be the switch ., when looking at the switch off one of the small wires had broken ,Also worth checking for corrosion were the fog light wiring plugs in behind the pas front wheel arch liner , good luck
The first ebay add you refer to looks to be the correct radiator for a 80 bh dci the later one doesn't look correct for a 80 & looks like a universal 1.5dci 65 or 1.2 petrol radiator
On a clio Rs200 you will have to clear the crash data from the airbag ecu before it will start , this can be done with the Renault clip computer & can be made to start without new airbags fitted .
Believe what you like ,are you in the motor trade ? do you work on nothing but Renaults for the last 20 years ??? if the questions that your asking are on here then I think not . The only injectors that are different are the 100 bhp there again the experts on here will argue different no doubt .
if your talking clio 3 on a 06 plate then most of the above is rubbish as it will be the 106 bhp engine with the better seimens injection . Oil changes seem to be this engines down fall as the bottom ends will bang out . If its got good service history & had proper oil in it should be ok
Would be a great project & good to drive . I would use the twingo wiring & put the complete running gear in your clio . You could probably add a turbo to your engine but allot of work & your engine is 8 valves short then you need to sort all the fueling ect sorted .
Cant shed any light on that I am afraid even low I have seen it done many times , never looked in to it on my clip but you can get it done by the chap next to Cit-ren
Wrong check your facts before you quote ,65 & 80 run the same injectors .these are cheap at £389 a set from ram induction The 100 bhp are £150 each and are exchange . There are more changes than the turbo on a 100 bhp
Before you start panicking regarding pumps ,its not always the pump at fault ,the injectors can shut down due to electrical failure a leak back check would confirm this ,if you wanted to check for metal contamination you could remove the fuel sender unit & check the tank .The metal shards are...
The Delphi system also burns the pistons ,fail and bang the bottom end out and the pumps shred . Have not had a simens system give trouble or shred as yet
The clio doesn't have a water detector on so wont be that ,The megane intercooler is the same through out the range so 19 dci intercooler is the same as 1.5 and the megane 80 bhp is the same engine & turbo as the clio so if you can cram it in it will be ok &65 & 80 injectors are exactly the same...
Just read this from the start and reminded me of my Renault 8 lol ,Wheels for that were a nightmare but the same firm may be able to help you . Try looking on image wheels .
I remember that fun on my clio when I got a new intercooler . I fitted the dacia item mentioned in one of the treads on here & in the pics looked like a straight fit but in real life nothing is that simple .it turned out to be slightly larger & the pipes were at a slightly different angle so...
That old chestnut had this with my ex your to old for a clio at 35 well kept the clio and got a new missus who likes the little clio even low I have fallen out with it at the mo lol ,
The only chump as you put it is a CHUMP who comes on a clio forum to big up vw s sure the 1.9 vw is great but the 2.0 diesel is absolute rubbish then advising to by a skoda ,the parts are more pricey than vw ,No wonder Renaults are unreliable with Chumps like you working on them ,lol
