Good man. Piece of piss to take it off, will massively improve your gearchange too. You need to bray out the metal collar on the standard mount as the powerflex just utilises the bare bar

99 percent sure that it'll be the dogbone mount. Try the mount first before you look to anything else, especially if it hasnt been done. Get a powerflex purple insert or just buy an evol engineering mount. Dead easy to fit yourself too.

Yeah definitely. Still pretty good with cams really, but that certainly makes more sense lol. Rarely see one dyno that high usually lol

Do you reckon that dyno would be way out? No way would you make that much power without any proper engine work surely? Will show a difference though clearly

From experience go to your nearest Halfords. They do c.v joint grease in a tub made by 'coma' and it's a white tub with a red screw on lid. Get that. Then pop a fistful in with it. I found the Halfords clamp s**t and ordered a mikalor one myself.

This car is the best clio anywhere in the world. That sounds a bold statement but genuinely when he posts some pictures of this thing up you will all f**king s**t yourselves. It makes your car feel so inadequate and s**t lol.
The car is a credit to Gus and his immensely can do and...
Check top left engine mount by moving engine and seeing if there's any excessive play.
Dogbone is easy to remove I think it's a 17mm and a 19mm just need ratchets. It's a bit of a nob to get the powerflex in as there's a metal collar that needs removing on the dogbone. Do it yourself it's...
The car seems to have had the acoustic valve blocked. Probably had a foam filter silcone type air induction on it at one bit.
Yeah the dogbone is a mega common failure. Jack it up and have a look. Definitely get some purple bushes in there. That is the first port of call. I suspect the car has...
Is this car new to you or have you had it a long time?
I think it's one of two things. If you have just bought it then I would guess the car has a race dogbone mount fitted. If it hasn't then it maybe has solid engine/ upper gearbox mounts. This explains the vibrations.
If it hasn't then I...
The 200t is bound to be faster with launch control. Do the same race from 10mph in first and the 182 will walk it.
The 182 is certainly quicker on a roll than the other 2 but as I say, in a drag race the auto is gonna be hard to beat. Get a mega start and you might have a chance.

Yeah so I'd personally lower it on something like cooksport springs for a good compromise between cost and functionality. If the dampers aren't fucked use the old ones.
I'd probably get some decent tyres, ns2rs or something and then brakes too.
You'll probably get some fun out of an exhaust...
RS tuning did mine. It gained 10bhp but it massively smoothed out the power and made it more linear and smoother. It also feels a tad quicker through the middle to top end and noticeably increased torque low down. Very noticeable. It'll also raise and smooth out the idle and factor in any...
Not gonna lie I have one of those CV clips on tight. I would rather put a clamp on it, just wanna make sure it won't fowl owt.

So will a hose clip not be any good then? I have seen people say they use them on older archived posts on the trophy forum after a Google search

My CV boot is letting a bit of grease out around the edge so I think the clip has had it.
I think I'll just get a good hose clamp to fix it back on. Question Is, What diameter clip will I need, and will this be better than the shitty CV clips?

No I highly doubt it. Abs ring won't might the management light. More likely traction service airbag etc. Not the management light. That sputtering sounds a bit telltale too, of what though I don't know mate.
