Took my car for it's MOT couple of weeks ago which failed on emissions and the CO/Lambda was out, assumed this was the pre-cat lambda. I got that replaced with one I had (Bosch) and the print out from the garage that replaced it looked normal again (0.04 out on CO cause of aftermarket CAT). Went...
Looks a great buy, minus the starting issue, but I just had this with my 182. Fuel pump relay is good place to start, but try turning to the second click, then off, then back to second click and wait about 5 seconds as this forces the pump to prime, if it starts after that it's likely to be the...
Going to be changing the fuel sender unit on my 182 on Tuesday, I've got a new ring and seal cause I expect the old one to crack trying to take it off but just wondered if there was anything specifically to watch out for (other that not lighting up whilst I do it)?

Can someone confirm either way, thanks.
Oh right, I'm just outside Huntingdon. Just bought a FF 182 about 3 weeks ago and was looking at things that would be good to replace. Haven't bought any of it yet as the steering rack has a leak so that's getting replaced on Saturday :/
That's probably the case, but I was more wondering if anyone had any guides/manuals relating to the linkage (from the pedal to the clutch) as i'm new to the whole mindset of fixing your own problems when it comes to my car. My only issue is my pedals every so slightly loose (as in it goes in it...
Hi,
I'm new to the site and have spent the last couple of days looking through all the guides/manuals/FAQs on here and yet I can't seem to find anything tangible on clutch maintenance. I'm pretty sure mines all fine as the 172/182s have reputably heavy/high clutch pedals, and i'm not used to...
