Depends on the track very much so, and yes it would be close but I would go with the 535d...it maybe slightly slower in the corners..but then has one hell of alot of torque to get back upto speed.

Depends what you want from your car. Also depends what TDI you mean. If you want an out and out hot hatch with no worries over comfort ride/build quality then the obvious answer would be the 172. However if you want something which is very economical with a reasonable turn of speed then the TDI...
Yeah I have them back to issue 2. I am starting to read it quicker and quicker these days though and after 2days I am waiting for the netx issue as nothing else offers the same kind of reading..They also have an Italian EVO in which some of the articles are the same and some are different I buy...
A mate had an M coupe a while ago which was stupidly quick, also without traction control is a bit of a handful in the wet. I remember him saying going over a manhole cover and the back end twitched slightly and that was in 4th..
Nice car anyway, have fun.......sideways :D

Has anyone noticed them with an IK fitted. I have only noticed it recently and only with the window open. However under short bursts of hard acceleration and occasionally under long stints of constant moderate throttle I keep getting whiffs. I have looked at everything and cannot find any cause...
The Clio S1600s have done a storming job on the Rally Mille Miglia, the event which includes many names from the Italian national championship.
1. Travaglia - Zanella Renault Clio S1600 2.4101"4
2. Longhi - Imerito Subaru Impreza WRX STi + 5"2
3. Andreucci -...
I would say the same as most, if you can afford it go for it..I am another one who would love to say I had owned as Esoctr Cossie..In fact I still have the original Ford brochure for the car somewhere at home from when the car came out.

LOL - what is it with these people in older Porsches. I know someone who sounds exactly the same, he only has a 944 though. Again thinks this thing is the best thing since sliced bread, until he got left by another mate in a BM 320d..

^^^ He is in WRC this year, but not every rally, Mitsu are doing a car share thing on the second car so sometimes it is Galli sometimes it is Sola I think..
Yes I agree that Loeb and Solberg are the men to beat again this season, however in that particular vid there was some excellent driving...
Excellent vids, I saw him at a rally here last year and he is a really nice guy aswell and enjoys mixing with the fans betwenn stages..
Vai Gigi = Go Gigi!!!

Dont always look at the direct comparisons to a petrol motor. Yes the rev band will obviously be alot narrower. But we re talking about a 1.5 DCI which is generating as much torque as a 1.8-2.0lt petrol. Also go back 10years and see what diesels you could buy. Ford Escort 1.8TD (90bhp / 133lbft...
The best way to get them off is to use a socket which is about 1 size to small for the nut, hammer it on and then air gun it. The vibration will normally get them off. If you take it to some kwik-fit place they will normally try something like this..

Check out somewhere near the back of Evo an advert for ABP Motorsport somewhere near Crewe (I think) they can do it..I had a mate use them and he had nothing but praise for them.
I am still waiting for my Evo, it is in the post so look forward to reading this article..

^^^I am 100% sure that is the answer you will get here. The Fiesta is the better built car and in some respects the better all rounder ( I will probably be shot down for that comment )...but at the end of the day the 182 is a lot rawer and a hell of alot quicker..each to their own in my...
