oh, must have hit enter accidentally. blu valver, going up hil towards carrow road turn off. you went straight up the hill, i went down carrow road. i was drivin a blue valver, lowered on 17s. your car looked fairly standard, though may have had different 15s on it.
Car was lowered before the install went in.it only sits bout 10mm lower than it did before the install went in. Its two custom made boxes made from 18mm mdf...
Just wondered what you guys thought of my (nearly) finished install. few more things to do before im really happy with it, and maybe a new amp to match the subs. but take a look...
if you read down to the bottom, they think its the one with the audi tt lump in it! then theyve started to question why they didnt put a megane 225 lump in it.
my 16v does it too. ive found its the front left corner of the roof lining next to the sunroof. if i put my finger on it it stops doing it. but i just ignore it cos i cant be bothered to driver everywhere with one arm in the air.
one thing to remember with blue is 449 blue dont come in a can, so it you need to have anything little sprayed, it becomes a bit expensive so i have found out

being the same engine- yes and no.
well I know some insurance companies can be real fussy bout things like that. I knew a few people who put 1.8 lumps into their metro gtis (1.4 as standard) and where they sourced the car from dramatically changed the insurance costs. if they said it came...
to be honest you will get absolutely nailed by the insurance company cos of the engine transplant. a Clio 1.4 with a 19 16v engine would surely put it into the r19 16v insurance category iirc? making it even higher than a Clio 16v.
got a mate who put a 1.4 lump in his Clio cos the original...
winston. how come youve got a 16v manifold on your car if its got a willy lump in it, surely the tubular one would be better than the cast one? and it would look much nicer too
