Due to me putting a set of clio trophy alloys on the 182, I am selling the current wheels on the car
Tyres - 4x Toyo T1R's (205/45/16). 2 tyres have 4mm tread and 2 have 6mm tread.
Wheels - Clio 182 FF alloys (ET45) in anthracite. 1 wheel has a slight kerb mark about 2" long (Please see...
I bet the heatshield has ripped around the nut, the nut is prob still there just not holding anything!
Under warrenty but I just got a repair washer that was bigger that the nut and put that on to hold it
can't see how that would make any difference? The crankcase breather is after the airfilter so no more blowpass is going to be coming into the charge with the viper than say with the stock filter?
Anybody got any pics of the trophy turinis on a silver 182 with both cup packs. After several brake fade issues around the nurburgring recently I have decided to ditch the standard FF alloys for the trophy wheels.

I am looking to start modding my 182 soon, I already have a BMC cda and I would like to upgrade the cams on it. Will I be able to run the car for say a few months with the new cams, whilst I get some other mods done and then go for the remap at a later date?
Thanks
tbh mate have you checked that it is the bulbs? Out of 15 headlights I have replaced only 2 of them were blown bulbs!
Id say 90% of the time its the ballast not the bulb that has blown.
Reanult will not replace the catch under the current yellow OTS. If the customer persists in the replacement of the catch it is at there cost period.
And FYI the current yellow OTS is not a recall - laguna turbos are on yellow ots and so are pencil coils and they are not being recalled. Its...
Its actually the dephaser solenoid advancing the timing via the dephaser pulley on the inlet camshaft.
Newer 1.6 16v engines and also import scenic rx4's have this pulley fitted to, but i think its just the rs's that you notice the kick on

182 cups don't come with the spoiler m8, that guy in parts obviolsy knew more than you lol. It comes with the cup spoiler pack.
And Mr "walker" is deputy md of rea group uk, not ren uk lol
Get ur facts right before gobbing off lol
Be careful about the 12 month guarantee, parts fitted under warrenty are only usually guaranteed for the remainder of the cars warrenty. Might be different as you have paid for the part tho.
I totally agree about the 2 years. If you read the warrenty booklet it does state you get 2 years...
The dealer will not replace it for you unless they pay for it out of there goodwill. Reanult Dealers use a net based system called ICM. This enables them to check components on your car to see if renault will pay for them. If renault argree a 100% contribution then all well and dandy.
As you...
