I bet the heatshield has ripped around the nut, the nut is prob still there just not holding anything! Under warrenty but I just got a repair washer that was bigger that the nut and put that on to hold it

I am looking to start modding my 182 soon, I already have a BMC cda and I would like to upgrade the cams on it. Will I be able to run the car for say a few months with the new cams, whilst I get some other mods done and then go for the remap at a later date? Thanks

tbh mate have you checked that it is the bulbs? Out of 15 headlights I have replaced only 2 of them were blown bulbs! Id say 90% of the time its the ballast not the bulb that has blown.

Its actually the dephaser solenoid advancing the timing via the dephaser pulley on the inlet camshaft. Newer 1.6 16v engines and also import scenic rx4's have this pulley fitted to, but i think its just the rs's that you notice the kick on Shaun
