Could I get a copy of the cambelt guide for my 172 please?
Due for its 5 years or 70k mile belt change, don't fancy paying £800 for the privilege.

My car is not 5 years old yet and done just over 37k miles.
I had planed on getting the auxuiliary and cambelts done next year, come service time.
Reading about the aux belt taking out the cambelt, I might look into changing it myself sooner.
Is there an online guide for changing the...
Just picked the car up, cost £120.
Bit cheaper than they originally quoted, no strip down of rear brakes since it runs pads all round, fuel filter inbuilt so doesn't need changing. No new air filter required since I have a fancy panel filter.

Just had a call from the garage, service complete with a couple of advisories.
Exhaust is a crap fit and badly made, touches the body in a number of place. Advised to go back to the manufacturers. It's the KTEC stealth system, I rang them a while ago for fittinng advice. I'll make an...

Could anyone local to Aldershot recommend an independent...

I dont mean anything derogatory by this, just dont think its worth spending £3k on a NA engine in whats already a pretty sorted little hot hatch
Yeah, having to parallel park up curbs because your road is so narrow doesnt help though. I have since moved :)
Im not that bothered now, will get the refurbed or buy Turinis when my tyres wear out.
Yeah, I only bought the Clio in February this year and the wheels were in mint condition. Now theyre all curbed.
The car is completely standard, Ill get the wheels refurbed eventually and might have the protruding lip ground off. Save me destroying them again
Personally Id never bother with diamond cutting on anything other than a show car.
When you diamond cut wheels youre effectively taking material off on lathe, you then lacquer straight over the shiny polished surface. The problems occur when the lacquer gets chipped from a stone and the wheel...
