Hmm, ok then. Hopefullly I will be able to fit the pump with all I got now. And I also hope that I will get some recent result with Jenvey manifold and Jenvey air hornes etc....
What was the power result of the white MK1 here on this forum. I though that this clio had exactly the same partst...
Strange, I am 100% sure while ordering all parts from Jenvey they informed me that the best solution (for better results) would be Megane's F7R head gasket and I could only get one suitable manifold. Is that mean that the manifold that I got is for Williams F7R not Megane head gasket ...
Thought about it - but this monster would be used on street ;) - and also want to find out about other options (I am surprised that there was any other monifold by Jenvey)
I thought that there was only one manifold lenght (I remember when I was ordering parts from Jenvery they informed me that I should get also head gasket from Renault Megane 2.0 16V and this manifold would be dedicated for it)
Additionaly, is there enough space for longer manifold? I think that...
Guys, long time since I have been here.
I know that some of you have built 2.0 16v F7P engine with ITB from Jenvey.
I am almost done with mine, but I have a small technical problem.
I have installed manifold together with air hornes on the engine block, but it seems that there is not enough...
F7P block with:
- rods from 2.0 from megane
- woessner forged pistons (largest possible ;) )
- crank also from 2.0 megane
- head gasket from 2.0 megane
- catcams camshafts and pulley
- ITB fron Jenvey
Well this is a good sugestion, we though about the same. However I am not sure if this gap is made in puropse. That is why i do need homologation booklet.
Hey guys I just have one question about F7P engine rebuilt for 2.0
Well I have bought forged pistons from Woessner and now I am not sure about one thing.
Due to the fact that it was extremely hard to find a good F7R engine block I have used one of F7P which I had from previous cars...
It was taken out from 1.8 16v clio mk1, but I have observed that there is only renault logo and FDP sign on it. I though that FDP was a diesel engine not 1.8 16v

Thanks sideways danny, my engine has forged woessner pistons, catcams camshafts (designed for ITB), gr.A exaust system etc.... Basicaly I have changed everything possible to be change.
On the other hand, the same what I wrote you on PM. I am not looking for 180 or 190 hp. This we already got...
Well thanks for the info, but let me get this right. What do you mean that you would use jenvey rail on a non-standard engine? I mean what is non-standard.
I will use VEMS stand alone to control everything, I am not sure if it will cover both rails.
On the other hand, I don't understand...
Hey guys, I have a small technical problem. I am building another engine based on F7R from Williams using Jenvey throttle bodies kit.
Together with all the parts (manifolds, airhornes new pistons etc...) I have got fuel rail.
Now, when assembling all of the above to the head gasket I came to...
guys I have another problem now.... I have already bought 5 engine blocks (4 williams and 1 megane's), unfortunatelly all of them have micro cracks (splits, sorry I don't know how to call them).
It is unbelievable that all blocks has such cracks, we will try to look at the new one from the...
I do understand your point, although I am looking for about 220 at least in my project. As I already wrote, we got 193 with cat cams camshafts, and forged pistons from woessner and this was before mapping. I do believe that with forged pistons and forged rods you can get over 200 without ITB.
well the case is that I can sell now megane's engine with profit. Williams's block was very cheap let say ;)
So if there is no difference, why not to chose williams head (what would be easier with megane's block? )
I have just got two answers from people that has built such engine with different information.
Any idea why it should be better to use megane's head in williams's block ?
What could be the difference in runing such setup?
is there any difference between 710 and 714 ??
I have got something like this:
sorry for the quality but this is only pic i have now. When I look at it is seems to be a little different from F7P
so summarizing, such engine:
F7R block from megane
F7R head from megane
full set of Jenvery ITB
catsams pulleys and camshafts
woessner forged pistons (gr.A)
devil exaust
vems set
should be ok??
Ok that is clear enough for me :) (now I am happy)
1. I have like 3 engines apart now, would love to use forged rods but I have not budget at this moment. My goal is to put forget rods, better camshafts (the ones for ITB - hard core ones), and mechanical followers - but this will probably...
BenR, thanks for the answet but:
I have heard that oil chanels (I don't know how you call them) are different and that is why you can use williams's head gasket in megane's block but you cannot use megane's head gasket in williams's block (that was my concern)
Second thing, I got a jenvey...
helo to everybody, i need your help.
For the last few months I did faced problems to find good (not broken) engine block for my project.
I have got ITB full set from Jenvey, plus Megane F7R head gaskett (as I have heard that this is better for ITB).
Now we got to the point where 3...
