hello.
to make my engine sound a little beefier without the hassle of adding an induction kit and the aded insurance i have begun to consider removing the resonator in the standard air box.
has anyone done this? is the change in performance / sound noticeable.
once removed will it go...
just tried tto book a test drive on tinternet but it didnt let me select a model. will they give me the option to take out a cup or a trophy or bundle me in a 1.2?
ive got a 2002 1.4 16v.
but im off to uni soon and after something cheaper but faster too
tried elephant and im getting quotes around £1300, its less though if i put the uni post code as my adress as its a york postcode which is less risk than my oldham one.

when my years no claims arrives i fancy upgrading to a 1.8 16v, but ive tried some insurance companies none of which will touch me.
i have an oldham postcode that is reasonable high risk.
is anyone on here insuring a similar car or in a similar position who could reccomend me...
for a noticeable improvement syou will need to amp your speakers, which is not possible from a standard head unit.
if youre wanting to keep an oem look try a becker head unit, top quality and doesnt stand out.
hi, im haveing trouble getting the power cable through to the battery in me 02 clio.
if there is anyone in the hudds/leeds/manchester area that could give me a hand i would be dead grateful.
