tell them to loosen the cable/wire ties around the wires that go into the temp sensor. Thats all they did with mine and problem sorted.

aye most aftermarket use the phono leads (left+right) but some can use a 3.5mm jack

Had this looked at by renault @ sunderland. he said he had a few come in for same problem. They put cable wraps on at factory, normally too tight, so thats why you get fluctuations like I was having. He has moved cable wrap so wires are looser, and with movement the wires wont be losing...

Picked my new 182 up on Friday... however found this sat in the engine bay next to the air filter/cold air feed..... Couldnt believe it! Anyway heres a photo, I have no idea what it is, and if someone can identify it will certainly help with the explanation to the dealer, as they were clueless...

the light blue i think you are referring to is the blue racing gloss. Its ok but I have just bought a 182 with the metallic arctic blue, as thats my favourite the petrol blue is the id paint and at £1100 or whatever it is... is serious extra money
