i started getting annoying rattles around the 2500-300 mark. most come from teh front dash borad trim . if i stick my finger on it it stops but it isnt the best of driving positions to be in .
bad s**t m8. feel for u. i thought my side badges getting nicked was bad but this is just f**king crap...c***s like them should be made to pay with heftier sentences rather than the criminals getting protected by the system.
this country is going tits up . criminals get away with too much and the victims get treated like criminals.
and all because they stole my door badges.
ah well
i was thinking the exact thing. the b******s will still nick the new ones 2.0l. so craps one they might not be so interested in selling on ebay is the way forward.
does anyone know if leaving the side badges off and driving in the rain will affect any of my body work e.g. water ingress into...
i am going to see if any in edinburgh come up for sale and ask for there address for pickup.............then........
i bet i end up buying back my one badges,
why why why.
i was having a great weekend too. the best in ages
luckily there doesnt appear to be any paintwork damage. i think they might have used there hands to get the off rather than a scredriver or key.
the left side plastic thing seems a tiny bit loose but the right is fine.
are these things that easy to get off. i had a thought about...
Muthafukers stole my side badges last night. theiving gypsy c***s.
does anyone know how much these cost new? 2.0 16V
i am thinking of getting new ones but worried the gypsy c**t will come back and knick the new ones and make more money from me. i bet ebay is awash with stolen badges...
is it just me being a sad old b*****d but does anyone think the front of the CTR looks like a Centurian from the original battlestar galactica series?
the continuous glazed light feature looks like the eye with the moving red thing.
Alright all. Heres the muppet question of the day that i think i am 99% sure of the answer but thought i would canvas some opinions of the more savvy of you out there.
I found a loose bit of shaped foam with a rubber slot sitting at the front of my engine bay above the fan.
Am i right...
nasty one m8. i took a look at mine as soon as i saw watchdog. looks a bit dirty underther with a bit of salt residue too. i'll give it a squirt tmrw......
and i'll oil the bonnet latch too.
i check each door and the boot. what ever i am closet too. mostly its a press of the boot button and 3 tries at the door handle.
now i have to add to my routine a pre start bonnet check.

mine feels this way too. sometimes the car feels as though it is bunnying hopping along the road. this trait lasts for about 1 min then its fine. i've only really noticed it in the last few hundred miles so i would think i first noticed it around the 3200 mile mark.
I am trying to get hold of a full size spare wheel/trye and keep getting outbid on ebay for wheel tyre combos.
I was thinking of buying a standard 182 wheel (minus tyre), silver or anthracite colour doesnt matter as its a spare, but preferably anthracite in case i damage one of my original...
I have a 05 plate and have the plastic catch thing....
so whats all this its only on the 98 - 01 cars.
fooking renault sold me a 01 plate in disguise.
anyway my catch seems fine. there must be a 2 catch thingy no? The bonnet latch on the inside of the car results in my bonnent not...
I am happy with the price as the result was fantastic and they matched the blck gold pearlesent well.
chips away were quoting me £170 for a local repair no where near as extensive as what i got.
Also i didnt want my car to get ragged by some schister ....and thought if these guys do...
It was a local repair. The guy said that because there was a good line (the curved edge that sweeps down to the fog light) to define the edge he didnt need to do the whole bumper.
All in all very pleased.
I have a bit at the back that some other fool (put lightly) has done me while they...
