Could having a CAF running from the fog to airbox cause running problems without the correct map on the car? I was wondering if maybe there is more air to fuel ratio which could be causing the mixture to run more lean. Is it possible or should the ecu correct the increased air flow??

Ok after testing to see if the 172 was running lean and not getting anywhere i now suspect maybe the lambda sensors need changing. I think the rear might be ok so won't need to be changed but going to change the front to see if it changes anything. Are the sensors the same front & rear? Found...

Hey all, anyone else have a problem with their revs when they switch their heater on?!? when is off its fine but when the heaters on full the revs drop down to about 500. Been doing this for a while now and wondered if anyone else has this problem. Cheers

when my 172's idling after warming up if i put the heater speed down to 2 bars the car idles at 1000rpm, if i put the heater up to full it idles at 750rpm. Anyone know why?!? please help as its doing my head in :mad:

Are all the coil packs the same or are they different for 172's. Thinking about changing mine as i've read on here that people are having similar problems as i am. I've taken them off one by one while the engine is running and the engine changes revs on all of them

Arrrghhh does anyone know how to remove the top lambda sensor. Mine seems to be welded on. tried WD40 on it but it don't budge. There isn't much room to move with the gear lever in the way. Its a 172 by the way
