Out of interest roughly where in Hampshire is the dealer located? Just for info really. Also I would be kicking off, it looks like the mechanic that did that was both pi**ed and blind! Good luck.
It looks like they moved the vehicles from the Beaulieu display, which is now finished, and added some extra props. I am gutted that Beaulieu have ended the Bond exhibit it was easily worth the entry fee. Looks like a good exhibit though as there are some extra pieces there that I haven't seen...
had my R27 for about 20 months. When it went the MPG was reading 34.8 MPG. I commute about 46 miles a day mostly on the M3 and it was quite honestly an awesome car. It had none of the often mentioned issues, except wear to the Recaros which was covered by Renault warranty. It did develop a spot...
My old Peugeot alloys used to gather dirt where the spokes met the outer rim and it was often really tricky to move. I used a microfibre cloth and SRP to shift it. Simple chemical application of Bilberry and the like did nothing and an abrasive product with elbow grease was required. Good luck
Did you speak to a Renault dealership (generally clueless, especially if someone asks them a question that they don't know the answer), or Renault UK?
i snooze and i lose!! Beaten to it!
Just spotted this...I bought some wheel cleaner from the little car shop in Ringwood the other week as it was on offer in there as well. It is absolute rubbish! It actually made me angry how rubbish it was, the water in the bucket had more cleaning power. I have used Bilberry in the past and...
Sorry to hear about your crash, and your car. I would suggest that you ring Renault and ask them, although unless its a TCe then it will be a normally aspirated 1.2. Good luck
Is there a difference between the 200 and 197 'box? I mean in terms of the bits that are reported to fail - mine has never shown any sign of failure/stress (197).
Well thanks for the input on this. Have been to Ford, Pug, VW, Toyota and Kia this morning looking at what they have in. All as expected and we only spent any real time in Pug, Ford and VW. Discussed Pug 208 feline, but they are sooooo expensive (circa £18000) or £390 per month on just add fuel...
Well had an update this morning and it seems that I will 'probably have to wait until May based in current lead times'. To summarise - car ordered at dealers at the beginning of December, car delivery probably May. Approximately 20 weeks.
Thanks for the input so far. When I was told that I couldn't have the spare wheel we were looking at a Tce and was told that the wheel is suspended under the car, but that the DCi can't have one, and that would just be plonked in the boot. I think you are right about cancelling the order, but...
Not feeling particularly lucky to be honest. Having my options removed was annoying with the first extra, but after 3 its getting silly. What's the point in having an options list if your hamstrung when you try to spec up the car? I was showing a little brand loyalty, but to be honest there is a...
That's good to know, although I have already had to cancel the r-link and the spare wheel. I have emailed the salesman tonight to tell him that I will not compromise on the sunroof. I suppose I am annoyed that despite ordering in at the beginning of December I am having to change the order now 4...
Well I have been told April IF I cancel the sunroof. If I don't, then they can't tell me when the car MIGHT be built. What might be an 'unreasonable' amount of time? I appreciate your help, cheers.
Wanted an R27 in ultra red, and saw one in the local dealer as I was driving past. Awesome! Test drive it the next day and deposit was placed. Got the car and the colour that I wanted
those wheels look like they should be on a posh shopping trolley, the 17s look better. This is similar to the car that we ordered, and I think it looks pretty nice (-except the wheels!)
Hi, I am particularly interested in input from a Renault sales person, but am grateful for any advice.
We placed an order for a Clio 4 at the end of November (preview night at the local dealer). The car is pretty well specced as standard but I did specify R-Link, spare tyre and panoramic sun...
