eek!! well good job i dont have a pressure washer then! i had a similar problem with my saxo where all my gauges and dials froze! and resetting the ecu sorted it.

well i reset the ECU anyway and it cleared it...mst have got water in a sensor somewhere. all better now :D

(i have a 2002 172 owned for a week!!) had a nice long drive yesterday covered about 300 miles car is all fine..today i wash it then start it and i have the electrical warning light on alongside the ECU warning light. car is running in limp mode. any ideas on what the problem is? asked renault...

thanks for all the good, helpful resonses! i already have my track car *cough saxo cough* sounds like the usual tuning mods then! the only problem is..ill have to sneak them on to the car without the other half knowing! never know!! she may get the tuning bug like i have! bless her she's going...

Hello all! my GF and i have looked at a black 2002 172. shes paying!! im driving it too! Hopefully picking it up tomorrow! seems to be in good working order 41k on clock anything in particular i/we should look at? what are the most common faults on these motors? Many thanks Dan
