Hey all. Just bought a new drivers side driveshaft (well a refurb). Can anyone recommend the cheapest place near crewe in cheshire to get it fitted? Or does anyone fancy doing it for me? :). What price do you reckon i'll be looking at, is it a couple of hours work?

you could do with getting a diagnostics machine hooked up mate to see what fault codes have been stored. Have you checked your crank sensor? My mate was experiencing similar problems recently and it turned out his crank sensor was covered in oil

well we've just finished taking the old PAS pump off, won't be able to fit the replacement until it arrives tomorrow. The clips on my front grille have always been broke so we were easily able to take it out without removing the bumper which was a bonus :) i'll be honest i'm not holding much...

ahhh god i take it it's a massive job then :( would it be worth me removing the aux belt first and starting the car up to see if it still makes the noise without the power steering pump being driven?
