Was in Harlow as my friend was picking up his car, from our other mates car workshop.
Saw 4 Clio's in total I reckon and I think were all Renault Sport variety but wasn't close enough to see clearly, 2 x blue, 1 x black, 1 x silver.
Funny that - H&R's adjustable coilover packages for the Mk1 clio's use bilstein dampers. and H&R are well renowned for their spring design.
Thus making your post above slightly contradicting.
I would go for H&R adjustable coilovers personally.
bilstein dampers.
And H&R have LOADS of experience...
Decent Pics there...
My Fave is this one For obvious reasons (RS clio's old to new evolution )

Good meeting and chatting to a few of you.

The MIMS meets have big turn outs now? One I went to in the past was only really 10-15odd.

From London. Only been to two cliosport meets, Bed's brekky run (things went slightly pear shaped at this one), and a south mims (got v.bored lol).
Been to a couple of RR days at HP, Pod days, FCS. Need to be 'doing' something at car meets, otherwise I get bored very fast.
Also went...

We can discuss the finer points of 'Canon in D' anytime buddy :rasp:
Hope all is said in jest - otherwise does show poor character, even more so when Sun Tzu is an old friend of mine ;)

Magnex with a decat although...
its disputable whether a 'whole' fiver is best.
Sometimes its better broken up and stored (in its various parts) in different places. Best is when you forget where you have stored one or more of the parts of which could otherwise be a 'whole' fiver, and find it by accident.
Also, lets not...
I am looking to get my car mapped soon and have a number of questions which I would hope some people may be able to offer advice on...
I am currently using a Emerald M3DK Ecu - which is capable of being upgraded to a K3 so that the ECU stores three maps which are switchable from inside the car...
Zippy, Any idea what power figures he was getting?
Funnily enough his questions to me were 'what are you running?' and 'what power are you making?' LOL.
If it is someone you know, I am sure he will remember my williams ;)
Paintwork - is decent not suffering from Rust at all which is always a bonus.
Has its imperfections as most cars do - and currently I am not going to bother getting it resprayed as it is used daily - would just end up being financial/paintwork suicide.
I did recently have some training on...
R1* MAT - Clio R27 A2 South From Blackwall Tunnel all the way past the Bluewater exit.
Your car looked lovely and performed well - nice little battle.
Bet I shocked you with the pace of a Williams 1 ;)
At about 1.30 PM today.
Wizbit - Cheers mate for the compliments.
Yes they were done at pristine - myself and others (who have been in the clio world for a lot longer than I have) have said 'its the best refurb they have ever seen'. My brother has a spanking new set at home, at some point i'll get a pic of the two...
Ahhh ok - I must have been somewhere else in the queue.
I did have a good chat with a Guy in a Mint Civic EK9 which was Turbo'd! -He had traction issues but was posting 13.3/13.4's :D.
I live closer to Stoke newington mate.
Was just on my way back from a meeting - much to my surprise spotted a Williams 1 going in the opposite direction past me - did attempt to getting his attention, but he didnt seem to realise another Williams 1 was passing him by.

The car your thinking of is 'Cliolord's' car - his on the WC and C16V forum.
APD built the car and it is pretty lethal.
What Car were you in?
I did spot a 172 Cup - but the owner of it was always driving somewhere or running off somewhere so never got the chance to have a chat with him...

The Earthing (I have on good authority) is required for the speed sensor, just thought I would clear that one up

Hope you and your missus (bubbles?) are well...:)
