It's been a while since i posted here. After I wrote of the 197, I got a b7 A4. It didn't last even a year, hit some oil on the site of a recent accident and wrote that one off to. In the meantime I've been passively looking for a good clean 172/cup to turn into some sort of a track car - but...

installed the springs yesterday... yes it 'could' go lower, but the 4cm that H&R advertise was just too much, I barely manage to drive normaly with eibachs on the poor streets here. The springs will settle a tad (as everyone knows) no other mods except tints all around and custom plates...

tints all around and (old model) rs6 18" wheels. very happy with the car so far... plans are a remap (still can't get a decent shop to do it for me) so it should hopefully see 235/240 bhp and a lot of torque... and it will be lowered 4cm in the next few weeks (last pics...

as some of you know, i crashed my car. Bought a new one so dont want to spend the money fixing this one....not worth it. anyway, i was thinking of selling it for parts. what should i ask for the engine, and how much for the gearbox? they are in perfect condition.

lost the back end, tried to correct it but at that speed and with bad tyres, it resulted in me hitting the guard rail with the front right side, rorating,then hittingthe rear right side and then returning to my lane ... the rear passenger hit his head a bit because he was asleep at the moment...

my (Varta) battery died today, so I went and boght a new one. This one appears to be a bit bigger in size even though it's the same capacity - Bosch 56AH and now the cover wont fit. Any thoughts? probably a repost and most likely a stupid question :o
