Was maybe planning on selling it some time next year,would be an extra selling point,and as you say could always bang on a bit extra.

Anybody opted for an extended warrenty on their 197.Mine is 3 years old soon so warrenty runs out,but not sure whether too extend it,they want £500 for one year or £700 for 2 years.Is it worth getting?????

I currently have a clio197 in black,coming up three years old in november and still loving it.Only things is in november its going too cost me about 1k for the extended warrenty,service and mot.Thinking I could part ex it for an r26 that is still in warrenty.But I can't seem too pull myself away...

I got a price the other week for a set of black speedline from the dealers,they wanted over £800 for a set,and thats without tires.rip off imo

Cornering lights are the nuts,espcially if you have a dark driveway like mine,lights it up perfectly when you turn onto it. Still think that all black is the best colour on the 200.

I'm sure you can have black too,think you got a choice of black or anthracite. I think the black would look the best but still haven't seen one in the flesh or a decent picture of one yet.

Albi 197 parked up in Mac Dee's at newbury park on the A12 about 2 ish. Had a 5 digit number plate but can't remember what it said. Car was looking:cool:.

Your right Gary,most people probably would have the RS over the clio if you have 25k+ too spend on a new car.But if you only have 15k to spend on a new hot hatch then the clio would fit the bill.Total different price range from each other. I think this vid is not about saying the clio is...

I think daydotz is right mate,no xenons on the option list apparently.Guy from renault uk on renaulsport.co.uk said they didn't see the point as they didn't sell alot of 197's with them on. Stupid idea me thinks,xenons are a must on modern cars.

Your've drove clios longer than me,my hero,want a f**king medal or something. I know the RS would win on aproper track,I just think it is great how the little clio can keep on its heels in the twisties of such a good car. My 197 is my first renault so you probably have been in a clio longer...
