Aside from the fact that they're cheaper to tax, better mpg than your 'average' car, great for commuting and filtering legally through traffic and a nice change from sitting in a metal box on a hot summers day I agree with you. And in my experience, girl's love a man in leathers :o
I've been thinking about trading mine in for the Gixxer 1000 but like you said, I think I'd find it too frighteningly quick! Your Duc looks the part mind. Bet it sounds great. Just looking at all these makes me want to take mine out, roll on Spring
I've been working on this video today. I've only got Windows Movie Maker and my Galaxy S so it's not exactly Turkish standard of video editing but still...
Here's my pride and joy:
No, I wish! This is mine http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?547809-New-Slip-On-for-the-Gixxer&highlight=
But if you've got a spare half an hour it's worth looking through this thread ...

He's from Scotland and takes that Ducati...
Well, they look awesome for standard pipes! I haven't seen another one in the flesh to be honest, so I had no idea what the exhaust was meant to look like. Great color choice though. Enjoy!
I'm not 100% sure about this but I don't think you can play a friend as a 'ranked' match because it would just be abused by so many people. If you want ranked, you have to play a stranger.
Thanks for the positive comments lads. I was expecting mixed reviews tbh. Shame the weather is so icey. I'll try and get a video up of the sound at some point.
Anyone got any suggestions how to make that Black catalytic converter look black again?
Bought it from the Bike Show at the NEC for a good price. Won't gain any horsepower, it's all for looks and sound really.
Started it up earlier and I'm chuffed with the sound. Just a shame I can't take it out :dapprove:
For those of you who are interested...

Thanks
Does anyone know what time of year that is? Are the roads normally that quiet out there?
Looks absolutely brilliant. I'd love to do that on the bike tbh. Like this guy, if anyone's interested ...

Somebody's spent a lot of money on that and I think it looks quite nice to be honest. If your into that scene (like I used to be) then it's pretty cool car. As has already been said, I'd just change the back plate and the silver stickers on it. Liked your old one as well.
They were great with me to be honest mate. I'll keep you updated if I get any problems.
They only had one other I think mate and that was a 58 plate gsxr 600, blue and white, really mint, lots of mods, belonged to the mechanic that works there but he's looking to sell it.
Thanks everyone...
Ended up going with Express Bike Insurance mate. Thanks for your PM. I really want to lose the pillion pegs but because they hold the exhaust up I can't yet. Once I splash out on a yoshi can they can go then.
Tempted by one of these but look at the price! :eek...
I know, but for a year old bike that's quite a bit, especially as we only get the weather to ride them about 6 months of the year.
And yes, it does limit at 16k revs. Quite loud. lol
I've been saving up for a LONG time to buy a bike since passing my DAS a year ago. Ridden off road since I was young as there's plenty of places to go around where I live fortunately.
Since passing my test on the road I've been riding around on a really heavy horrible P reg Kawasaki ZZR 600...
Cool, try a couple of photoshops mate. Im sure someone on here could knock one up for you. Carbon fibre and white has got WIN written all over it. Nice work.
Keep us updated.
That looks really good with you now mate.
Are you going to put any badges/or stickers on it or are you leaving it as is?
I think it looks great now, maybe a subtle 'R6' logo to finish it off.
