I'm talking about 20 mins plus and many many many attempts trying to put it into gear. I've already tried pumping the clutch which doesn't help. Once I find a gear and drive it's good as gold *touchwood*.

I did my research on the 197 compared to the 200 and I thought the 200 didn't suffer from many gearbox issues :( when basically will refuse to go into any gear and seems to happen from cold although have only had the car a week and used it 3 times!!!!!

My engine management light is on but this is because the cat lambda sensor isn't connected as I couldn't get it out the cat, so I'm using a lambda blank. Gotta be the lambda sensor, also it stinks of fuel I've noticed, can't remember it smelling that bad with a Decat fitted!

Is ur car ok once up 2 temp? If it was an issue with the lambda sensor then surely the problen would there there when the car was driven from cold and when up to temp?

I was told that the HT lead connected to number 1 on the coil pack attaches to spark plug 1, HT lead 3 attaches to spark 2 etc. This not the case:S

To be sure you do plug the HT leads from the coil pack into the spark plug chambers from left to right and in this order 1,3,4,2??

Mine came on with my decat although it was on/off whenever it felt like it coz I disconnected the charcoal canister. Loving the decat though :D

I'll ask when I pick it up then if people are buying them under £30!
