I worked for Renault afew year's back and when ever a sport came in with any internal problems eg snapped belt. They would replace the engine. I would advise the same as you may find once you have removed the head there is even more damage inside. Sorry Chap

I had the same problem. It was the reostat it sit's next to the heater fan under the passenger foot well.

Could be the switch which is in the side of the gearbox, you would loose a little gearbox oil when changing it so buy some more oil.

My drivers side one was leaking for ages until gave in and did it and it's not leaked since. Bumper is easy to remove, you shouldn't damage it.

I had the same problem, The bumper is dead easy to take off and replace the washers, I got some from renault for about £9 if that.

The price looks good, the only way your going to really tell is to have a good look round it. Just remember you get wot ya pay for!

Hey mate, you will have a 12v feed and a earth. the other wire is for the light in the lighter. you need to tape that wire up and discard. you more than likely have blown the fuse when fitting the lights in the footwells. Also remember your light won't work with the ignition off as the lighter...

hey nice one i've sent middo a message about the dampers. lol na tried to stay away from the dodgy back street stuff,not at Renault ne more at Bentley now, but have still got alot of contacts at Renault for cheap parts and use of diag tools. So let me know if ya need any thing?
