Carbon Canister Location?

Mate text me earlier to say he's managed to hit a rabbit in his 2004 182.

He's knackered the splitter and says theres a black box hanging down on the drivers side behind where the fog light is.

Is this where the carbon canister is located?

Thought as much, told him not to worry too much about it, shouldn't effect anything but it would be worth replacing it when he could.

Yeah good shout, If he can do it in week or two would be good idea.

Tell him to save his money. Keep the solenoid out of the top, tape / cable-tie it somewhere out of the way... Bin the rest.

Meh he's just wanting to keep it standard for resale value.
