Well Renault want £255 to service my 182 so i've decided to buy the parts myself and take it to my local garage - my question is exactly what parts do I need??

When reversing out of drive/car parking space and I turn the wheel anti clockwise I get a bit of a clunking noise - I think its going to be something like a track rod end ball joint but could it be something else??

Tried searching for this but no luck, sorry!!! I think my front brake pads need replacing but i'm not 100% it might just be me. What is the best (and easiest) way to see if they are worn and need replacing. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Andy
