Just curious, are there any decent offers floating about on the Clios anywhere at the moment? Been looking and I’m struggling to find anywhere even mentioning them?
I was considering sticking some winters on them, but I thought if Im paying the money for some tyres I may as well get some normal ones and leather them on track next year.
Hi everyone,
Wondered if you could give me some advice. I recently fitted some Goodyear Asymmetrics to my 200 alloys. However, I have now got hold of some 197 alloys in Black and Im looking to run these for a month or so until my 200 alloys are refurbished. I only do around 3k miles a year so...
My 60 plate 200 has only done 7k miles but it certainly hasnt lacked on services every year and oil changes every six months regardless of miles done.
A lot of it comes down to the owner as much as service history. If you can find a genuine owner who has had the car for a few years then thats...
Hello!
Two years without a car, no claims about to run out and house finally bought it's time for me to get back into something nippy. Used to have an Orange Focus ST, and before that a Mountuned Fiesta ST.
So, Im thinking Type R or Cliosport now, however after being on the STOC forums I...
Hi everyone,
My missus slammed her door shut on her 54 plate clio and had the seatbelt caught in the way so it smashed that little button type sensor that senses when the door is shut. The actual button bit is ok, its just the rubber casing that sits in the the hole in the car chassis that I...
Best tyres I have ever had - In the dry. Huge amounts of grip, huge amounts of tyre squeel when you want them too, and they last a lot longer than people will have you believe.
In the wet they will at one point catch you out. You dont have to be driving like a tool either, I got caught out going...
Thanks pal.
I wont really miss the torque that much, I had a Fiesta Mountune 185 and I used to rev the balls off that, so I can deal with not having the torque.
Will be keeping an eye out on here too for anybody selling up round my area.
Speed limit is a limit and not a target.
There is my input, not sure if it helps or in anyway goes along with the thread, but I couldnt be arsed reading after page 1.
Right well just a quick update.
Went to look at the car today, and was utterly let down.
First off the 182 didnt even have the cup pack, secondly it didnt have its cambelt done and was overdue by almost six months and to add to that it didnt have any tax. Then after all this, the guy at...
So, due to me losing my job at the very worst time of year and needing some cash and something a bit smaller Im about to move to a Black Gold 182.
Now the fuel on the Focus is pretty poo, not as bad as everyone says but still poo, so Im thinking the Clio will be a bit better.
Anyway, Im just...
Get a grip mate, you drive a Clio and I drive a Fiesta - both of them are hardly man cars are they. Infact if mine didnt have an ST badge on the back and yours didnt have Cliosport all over it, both of us would be raging poofters.
Hahahah yeah FLOL @ the bright blue RUBBER which is an...
LOL @ everyone saying the Mountune 185 upgrade isnt worth it, and even bigger LOL at the guy who thinks his Clio pulls on a Mountuned one at "higher speeds".
Quoted firgure for a Cliosport 0-100mph is 17.9 in a Mountune 185 St 0-100mph is 15.5. It also brings the torque upto the same as the...
Thank you.
Unfortunately not all of us have the obvious in depth, technical knowledge of a Renaultsport engine that you have. So instead of posting unnecessary sarcastic remarks just tell us, less informed members, so in future silly questions are not asked and perhaps we can then in turn...
Thought it was just a sticker saying "this car is linked to the Renault international blah blah blah".
Its not going to be a problem you taking them off at all is it :o
