nope, checked cble and throttle boddy, body is fully closed we left the engine at these revs for like 1minute MAX and the exhaust manifold was just glowing a bright red!!, some serious heat coming from somewhere :(

okay, after takin the car off road for a month and doing a full service, head gasket change and cam belt change it was finally time to get the car running again, built it all back up, all sensors and plugs connected... checked, and checked again, we took the HT leads off and turned the engine...

okay been a problem for a while now, clio starts and runs fine, once it warms up i stop it backfires and cuts out, then wont start again untill the engine cools down, had a track day and was booting it, it didnt have a problem... any idea what this could be? some have said just lack of use...

my mates got the 306 Rallye which iirc is the same engine as the GTi-6, absolutely love it, he said he's never sell it!! fast little thing, never been in a 172 tho :(

Well people, as some of you may have seen this is my clio rsi, nicknamed clive decided that while it was off road before its mot we decided to do a few odd jobs to him, first was a cambelt change, and full gasket change so to make things easier... the bonnet came off which made things 100x...

cant u go to a scrappys get 2 standard struts... for now, get em sorted and put back on?

planning a trip over there next year, might have to get the ring taxi sorted out :)

dependin on what clio it is i presume, for timing belt kit and gasket kit, i payed £200 i think iirc from Andrew Pages :)
