got in my 172 today and started it up and theres a warning light on (the exhaust gas monitor one ) just above the over revving warning light, and also the car reving at 2500 rpm and wont go any lower, i've had it running for half hour and still no change!!! and one got any ideas?? thanks, steve

cutting a long story short. my 2002 sport has had its belts changed at 52,000miles 2,400miles later a strip off the AUX belt managed to enter the timing belt casing and got tangled up with the timing belt and f~~ked the engine. a closer inspection by an engineer found that the AUX belt plastic...

took my ph2 172 in on wesnday to the garage, coz of a oil leak cuming from some where. and was told it was coming from the crankshaft seal :( so just bit my lip and said just fix it and let me no when it dun. went to pick it up friday, and was happy to find out that it wasnt the seal it was...

clean the clio day ready for the matlock meet today, waste of time really coz only 3 turned up and i was one of them lol? and i was the only one driving a clio. what do you think to my car anyways????

just been to my local garage, coz i have a little oil leak, and they said it could be cuming from the rear main (the seal behind the flywheel) and that these go on clios alot! has anyone ever had this problem?? and was it easy to solve??? thanks steve

i have a black clio sport and thinking of painting the lettering on the door strips, you no the ones that say 2.0l 16v (the bullets) i want to keep them silver but paint the rased lettering black to match the car, and i think they'll stand out abit more? any ideas??? thanks sarge
