Hi All, just wondering if anyone has experienced wear problems on there 172 steering wheels. The rubber on my right hand grip has worn badly and is now tearing after only 15K. Anyone else out there experienceing it...and have you had it fixed?? Tx, Sean

Im convinced that Ireland is the most expensive country for cars (maybe Sweden is close). Especially after seeing the price of the 172 in Oz. So who paid the most and the least for their 172. I know were being screwed here...insurance is also f**kin crazy. Mine cost 26700 Euro = GB£16900...

I took a spin in the Cooper S yesterday and to be honest its also a great car to drive. The driving position is excellent, but the supercharged engine seems very smooth compared to the 172. Its nippy but not as raw. I reckon it would be a great car to drive, probaly as much fun as the 172...
