Thanks guys, finally got it done at a garage just down the road from me (london)for £20, he just whacked somethig onto the nuts and then screwed them off - easy.

Just got a set of mintex 1144 pads and the group n discs all round but the rear pads seem to have a couple of screws through them which the new pads dont have holes for.
Are there supposed to be holes in them already or what? Has anyone else fitted their own mintex 1144 pads?

was that 50 quid for fitting the bearings as well?
I was reading through the haynes manual and it doesnt say anything about having to change the wheel bearings, is it just a case of being a little careful not to damage them?

Just ordered a set of group "n" discs all round with mintex 1144 pads and thinking about fitting them myself. From what ive read in the haynes manual it looks like a dodle.

Ive also got a red valver but there isnt any tint on the sun roof, i like the idea though.

yeh its one of the rgm ones. luckily ive got all the nuts and bolts but that is what the confusing bit is, im sure i can get it on okay but i know im going to be left wondering what the rest of the screws and stuff are for.

Happened to be in halfords and saw a sale going on so picked up a set of corner splitters for twenty quid which didnt seem bad.
