This is what I originally thought. You thinking maybe the switch on the pedal itself? That shudnt be too hard to replace I wouldn't have thought. Didn't want to just go replacing things invade somebody had experienced it and knew exactly what it was. Does seem to be many people having this fault...
Yeah hopefully somebody does have a clue what it is. It's not all the time aswell it's just a random occurrence n all other times the car is fine.
It's literally like I've took my foot off the pedal but I havnt. Then when the cruise control did it aswell I thought I best ask on here.
Weird one this but I'll try to explain it the best i can.
When I'm cruising along at say 70mph with my foot steady on the accelerator pedal the car will slow down all of a sudden as I've took my foot off the pedal. When I do take my foot of the pedal and put it back on it'll speed back up...
I have the exact same noise! Its only come on recently and like you say it really does your head in.
Let me know the garage find anything? Be great to know so i could sort this on mine.
Right. Clio's just failed the MOT for a hole in the backbox. They've told me and I've read on here that even though its two seperate backboxes its one whole unit. They've quoted me £500 for a new Renault one which funnily enough I'm not too keen on.
Question is.. I've looked at cat back...
Nice one. Guess only way to find out really is take it some places. Thought I'd get some info thought just invade some places try to tell me the whole wheel needs doing etc
Did this awhile ago and because of the grey wheels its noticeable so is doing my nut in. Is this repairable or would you think its a full refurb? Nothing else is wrong with the wheel at all.
Thanks
I read somewhere that people have been cleaning the connector blocks on the back light clusters with wd40. They had the same sorta symptoms just not as many dash lights lighting up as you. Could try that maybe?
I see i see. Well if you ever see me you'll have to give me a pip. I've got an '04 blue 182 with the cup packs etc. It'll be fifty fifty whether is me though cos there's another car the exact same around Donny :(
Not far at all. Had a girlfriend who lived in Branton aswell some years back so even closer! What car do you drive? cant remember ever seeing a clio sport outside the halfords.
I feel for you. 1st time i parrallel parked since my driving test (5 years ago) and i kerbed my front passenger wheel :(
not as serious i know but still got abit emotional
Blue 182 with both cup packs (Exact same car as me) at MacArthur Glenn (LT56 LFF) then a Trophy near Selby (V6 DHG). Anybody on here?
Hoped to see a few in Whitby but didn't see one! If anybody was about Whitby mine was parked on the side of the road for three days (blue 182 with the cup packs)
Quick question. Alternator failed about two months ago and it was replaces under warranty. What wasn't covered tho was the belt that drives it. Am I right in thinking this is the auxilliary belt? The full kit was changed u was told (to maintain alternator warranty).
I've booked in at...
Indeed. Its not that strange really. Cruise control when turned on checks certain aspects of the car (safety). Checking the brake lights actually work is not so far fetched, i know it checks the brake switch but this doesn't prove the lights are actually working.
One to check for all these...
The only thing i can think of is the steering wheel does need to be moved a little so the steering lock doesn't affect the turning of the key.
For example if my steering lock is on i cant just put my key in a turn it most times i have to move the steering wheel ever so slightly.
Maybe you do...
