This appened to me also.
Have you had any rear seat passengers lately, who have entered by moving the passenger seat forward? This tugs some of the connections under the passenger seat off, as the wires rub over the top of the multi-changer.

Just had an oil/filter change, and 6k service for my 172.
Ive had it back, and it feels a little quicker, and definately more responsive than it was previously!! Is this possible?
The whole lot cost me £80 at my local dealer. Have I been shafted??
They also had a Cup in the showroom...

Ive just booked my Clio in for its (free) 6k service at my local dealer.
Thet told me that the 6000 mile service is no longer required, and if I dont have it done, this will not affect my warranty. They reckon that the first service should be @12k, and at 12k intervals thereafter.

I would read my owners manual, but unfortunately it is in Belgian. My local, caring...

Thanks Telford_Mike.
The fault developed after a rear seat passenger had just evacuated the car via the passenger seat.
It looks like the leads under the passenger seat catch on the CD multichanger each time the seat is moved forward or back.
Just a case of bad design, I suppose...

I sold mine, 94 on an L plate, silver, been to the moon and back, no tax or MOT for.............
£2k.
And I was laughing on the inside as I walked away.......
About £1500?
Ok, I exagerated slightly.
But the SERV light has come on, as well as the AIRBAG light. Ive checked the fuse, which is OK.
Anybody else had this problem, and if so, what was the cause?
Id like to sort this out myself, rather than hand over my Clio to the grinning fools at my local...
