Yeah im sure mate, lots of places seem to be able to remap it gaining anything from 15-25bhp but they wont go any further due to the injectors being maxxed out
Ah ok ill give them a try, yeah not heard of many people modding them trouble is the injectors are shite and cant seem to handle much more than std power as they run 100% as stock :dapprove: so hopefully some sport injectors will fit in.

out of interest, power wise, one thats been cammed,full exhaust system with S/S mani, pipercross Viper kit etc and re-mapped to suit all the mods - how would it fare against something like a std VTS?
iv heard the 1.6's are nippy, seem to respond quite well to tuning?

iv replaced a throttle body on a pre 04 1.2 16v for a customer at work before, all the inlet manifold had to come off, and it sits underneath it. Quite a shitter of a job, IIRC the mani nuts and bolts were a pain in the arse to remove..took a while to get everything done. Not sure what a main...

.Servicing/repairs - all ill be paying is the TRADE price of the parts, and doing all the work myself, so that equates to trade price...
anyway lol back on topic, this has veered way off! i wasnt after financial or insurance advice ;) end of the day..my car, my money, my risk - stupid or not. Its a risk im willing to take for the car i want. but thats just me!

yeah man iv thought about the 1.6, but nearly everyone says its a waste of time as i will just end up buying it, spending loads doing it up, and at the end of the day still be dissapointed with it as i could have spent the car + mods money on a 1*2 and have the car i wanted
