bought this due to the clio not starting right, it was later found to be the EGR valve, which is now replaced and car is fully 100% right again. anyway, glowplug relay:

ive had the diagnostics checked, and it cam up with glowplug fault and EGR valve fault. he deleted the faults and took it for a run, came back and plugged it in again. the only fault to come back was the EGR valve fault.
instead of the pissing about cleaning it, im just going to get a new one...

hi guys, ive been having some trouble with starting the dci 80 in a morning. 4 weeks ago, the car was struggling to start in the morning, so fiddled about with a few things and checked voltages etc. when the key is out of the ignition, there is still 6.7v at the plugs (they should be 0v). so i...
hi guys, following on from this thread :http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?529651-dCi-struggling-to-start-up. i have solved the struggling to start up problem, by replacing the heater plug relay.
but there is still 6.7v going to the heater plugs, with no key in ignition. my old man...
guys, my sister has got a clio mk2 ph2 and its recently started, not starting.

ive hopefully found the problem.i checked if there was any voltage to the glowplug plug thing (plastic plug that connects to the glowplug) when the key was out of the ignition. there was 6.7v going to the glowplug, which will explain why the battery was draining everytime i tried to start the...

ive heard the dCi 80 or even the dCi 100 is better on fuel, because your not "building it up" to over take etc.
my dCi 80 does 600 miles to £50 and thats mainly around town. its currently averaging 56.9 mpg around town lol.
