Hi I have just fitted a pure Motorsport air con delete to my 172. What tension should I do the belt to? I thought it's meant to be so you can twist it 90 degrees but That doesn't feel right.
Cheers.
While cleaning my car i noticed that where the fuel filler cap hinge bolts onto the shell is going rusty. Has anyone else had or got this?
What's the best way to sort it out Before it gets to bad?
Thanks.
Thanks these have only been on about a year 8k miles so not very impressed. It's the preloaded bearings I have gone for so I will see what they are like.
I am trying to change a rear bake caliper on my 172 and I have got a bit stuck. I have removed the end from the arm but I can't see how the cable comes out of where it goes through the caliper.
Cheers for any help.
I fitted cup shocks on my 172 about two months ago. But i have recently noticed that when going over speed bumps or on a bumpy road i am getting a squelching noise coming from the front end. The only thing i can think of is the shocks. Is this normal or not or is there anything else it could be...
That is my mate Chris's Orion. he built the red one as well but sold it not long ago. If you ever need advise i can easily put you in touch with him. he can all so re-trim bits in Bently leather for not much.
Im really excited for this :) i just hope my car makes decent power other wise i think i will end up spending even more money on it lol.
any news if my mate can run his car yet?
I am up for this and can pay a deposit.

Took some pics the other day as It was clean and I hadn't taken any since fitting some FK coilovers and a few other bits. Just waiting on some 2118's and a cup spoiler now. Then it's time for cams as the belts are due soon.
Thanks.
