Hi mate it is ashw831 (off golfgtiforum) is a nice looking beast that!! you need to get some more weight out of it yet though there is far too much in there - that tyre sensor must weigh like 10 grams or some thing lol!!! i think you should bring it to anglesey on the 29th - you can compare it...

We have managed to find a Laguna with the alternator and bracket for £30. The only thing is, can we change the alternator with out removing the power steering pump and therefor the steering rack? as we dont yet have a manual/electric rack yet? :S

Well i have now encountered a bigger problem... have just been told that the caliper has snapped in half! not sure of the extent of the damage yet, will be having a look tonight, but might just get them from NWP as they are doing quite a good deal for the lot all in!! may also need a new caliper...

Am changing the rear pads and disc's on a ph2 172, have been looking on the bay and gsf etc etc, but cant figure out which ones to buy.. are these going to be any good to me...

They are using the glass as a template for it as far as i know.... that not a good idea? i have added 4cm on to the bottom to allow it in to the top of the door so we can put a bolt under it to hold it up. what you think Tony?
