Has anyone ever thought about/converted the fuel system on a 1*2 to carbs??? My mate has got a set of 4x40mm delorto carbs lying round along with omex management. He had them on his zetec s and it made huge difference to it (bags of torque and spat flames out)

We have managed to find a Laguna with the alternator and bracket for £30. The only thing is, can we change the alternator with out removing the power steering pump and therefor the steering rack? as we dont yet have a manual/electric rack yet? :S

We have only taken out the flimsy sheet metal, none of the strengthening bars or anything like that have been removed, we were going to thought after the cage was built.... but what can we say hey!!!!!!

Well i have now encountered a bigger problem... have just been told that the caliper has snapped in half! not sure of the extent of the damage yet, will be having a look tonight, but might just get them from NWP as they are doing quite a good deal for the lot all in!! may also need a new caliper...
Am changing the rear pads and disc's on a ph2 172, have been looking on the bay and gsf etc etc, but cant figure out which ones to buy.. are these going to be any good to me...

They are using the glass as a template for it as far as i know.... that not a good idea? i have added 4cm on to the bottom to allow it in to the top of the door so we can put a bolt under it to hold it up. what you think Tony?
