I saw a golf on the way home tonight with a cool bee sting aerial. It was about half the length of a normal one and aluminium. Looked really cool. Anyone got one of these on a 172 or 182 or know what one would fit? Do you need to tell you insurer about a non standard aerial?

I managed to get a UK 182 for £12,200 1yr taxed and delivered with metallic paint and cup spoiler pack from a Reno dealer. They wouldnt give me the suspension as theyd pre-ordered a big batch to the spec I got. 10 weeks wait tho.

If they do and youve ordered from Reanult, ask them to cover the service cost if youre trading it in anyway. My car which Im trading in with the dealer needs MOTed because of the extra delay and theyve offered to cover the cost and any repairs because theyd need to do that anyway to sell it on...

Mine was ordered on April 11th and Im getting it on the June 19th. The 6 weeks I was told initially was a mistake and it should have been 8. The 2 weeks delay making it 10 weeks only just happened, so I guess that might be happening to them all.

The Renault dealer I ordered my 182 from has pushed the date out to 10 weeks from order (originally 6 then 8). Have other people had this happen? Wondering if it means the demand is very high and theyre struggling to keep up :D

Thanks for these replies guys. I saw some stuff in other posts about running in and there seems to be some mixed opinions. One guy on the other posts keeps saying that if you horse it straight off then youll get better performance and MPG. So then I take it if you do that youll be f**cked later...
