Just a heads up for you on this, if the whole pipe needs replacing Renault recommend dropping the engine to get this changed. I managed to do it myself without dropping the engine, but it took hours and left me with no skin on my hands..............

evening all, on my way home from work just as i pulled up outside the house the service light popped up and the ABS light. Seems odd that both would come on at the same time, any ideas? I turned the ignition on and off and the lights were still there. Any ideas people? Thanks Martin

Hello there, for the first time since buying the car a few months back I turned the air con on today and noticed a problem. When its set at the lowest (min) setting it still chucks out a load of heat. What could be causing this? Thanks in advance Martin

Hello there, noticed a slight problem with my 172 this morning. It seems to happen when cold and when warmed up, between 1000 and 2000 rpm there is a very slight misfire/judder, lasts no longer than a tenth or so of a second. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks Martin

found the problem, got it on a friends ramp and discovered power steering hose had a hole in it. what an absolute pig to change it though, Renault recommend you drop the engine to change it. I now have no skin on my knuckles........................
