Hendy, just ring Hill Power and speak to Nick, hes really helpful and will give you all the info you need.
Youll tend to find that the RSI isnt listed because it isnt that popular car, as most have valvers nowadays.
I had an RSI. I suggest you get yourself a Stage 1 kit from Hill Power:

Except go down and get the whole car setup as this is how youll notice any difference. Basically if you want a filter, get the chip and the decat at the same time.
My car...

But walk in to uni daily and see all the boy racers blastin it on the coast road everyday, lol.
P.S. What colour 172 u got and year?

BTW, Red 16 might be able to offer a better bodyshop as it could be cheaper and same quality but the service at PPS is...
Alright Clio Sport folk, Im pretty sure my car is going to have to go now rather than later, but I need opinions on a suitable price instead of asking too much or too little.
Its a red MK1 M Reg RSI, 3 owners from new 2 lady then me, approx 58k, FSH from new (all log book included etc), Taxed...
Thanks again lads.
The inner arch is the just the black plastic between the front bumper and wheel, so Renault or Scrappies only then  ?
Would a rear one fit>?
Cheers
Simon
Um, My headlight bulb has gone and I aint got a Hanes manual to hand. Could someone please tell me or even if it aint too much hassle, take a pic of what I need to do. Thanks.
One last thing the plastic arch bit in the front of the arch, do you need to take the wheel off to get that back in if...
Ive got to say the MK1 looked good(better when lowered), then the MK2 looks better cause it has bigger wheels, but the new MK3 looks Sh*t*.
Im sorry, but those wheels have no appeal what so ever, it just looks pants, boo :(
King.Stromba,
Considering the fact that your car
a) Has low mileage.
b) Is no.2 or whatever.
Your going to loose money if you tune it, cause it will loose its value, generally speaking if a car has been tuned, its been thrashed.
Get another willy and tune that and either keep your...
Well I had a new cable, pedal fitted and a new "uprated" (:p)clutch bought from BB and after about 2months, the F ing clutch cable has gone and this is after NOT taking the car 1/4 miling, so wtf is happening here. My car has done 55k and has had all new parts fitted an now the cable goes, AGAIN! :(
Since having the car lowered the car has been fine, but when I got my handbrake tightened and it loosend up recently, it makes an awful creaking noise. The garage says there is too much strain on the handbrak cable.
Now this didnt do this on my old clio 1.2 lowered on 15s so has the cable been...
Thanks Weight, maybe I should ring Nick Hill and see what he says...
I suppose I ought to look at Sell on value after, although Im not sure if it would make much difference, the car would be still be modified by quite a lot, period.
I suppose there is more potential with the Willy if it will...
I own a 1.8 8valve MK1 with Stage 1 mods and about 55k on the engine.
My thoughts of getting a stage 2 done have been put on hold since the idea of a Willy Engine (Thanks Weight - "Let the Force be with you Si"-Lets hope so!)
So, Is my car gonna be capable of taking the extra strain? I...
Right, so now the wheels are all right, I mean they rub say once maybe twice if I go over some dodgy unlevelled bit of road, but the arches are fine. It used to rub big time, (loud) I tell ya, its very little, now but no sharp edges on the arch.
Dont want to stick the 14s back on, so will get...
Well Ive bashed my passenger arch up like the driver side (rears) as my side is fine but the passenger side rubbed. So if this deosnt work, its back on the 14s until I get some lo pros. What the point? Its doing my nut in!
Oh yeah I took the screws ouyt of the skirts nearest the rear wheels so...
Okay, the noise was the steering wheel creaking as Im aware becasue its old. But I thought the noise got worse, but it turned out my alloys have directional tyres on so thats why.
But my arch was bent where the rust builds up, battered it with a hammer for a smooth face and went round a...
I want these tyres http://www.sicherbestellen.de/cgi-bin/reifendirekt.pl?details=Ordern&cart_id=5466528.2377&P-ID=&language=&typ=D38284&ranzahl=4&Breite=&Herst=&Quer=&Felge=&Speed=&kategorie=&gesanzeige=&rf=&Transport=&dsco=10&sowigan= onmouseout=window.status= ; return true...
Hello, Quality that u have such a good motor at such a young age. Once the local Rozzers have pulled you for first time and know that its your car and your insured (might be worth carrying all your docs for a bit, save you getting a producer). Then as long as you dont act like a tw*t driving...
It turns out Im pretty sure, that it was the arch that had curled up with age on the inside and was catching my wheel, it still caught it once today, but not by much, so hopefully it should be sorted.
I have had scrubbing on the rear driver side, clio 16valve phase 1s lowered 40mm i think on spax. Checked my rear driver wheel and there is a cut mark appearing around the outside of tyre. I think its the arch as it has curled and bent over time, exposing a sharp edge. So I bashed the sh*t out...
