I expect this has been done before so apologies in advance, but I d like a definitive answer. I assume they simply lift the 172Cup sups. bits and put them on the 182?
....sold out round here but apparently the Cup does well in a test to find the fastest car A to B on a typical UK rural B road. Up against nine others including Noble, 911 turbo, evo, etc.........
Leaving aside all the usual arguments about ABS or not, does anyone here agree with me that the Cup brakes as standard are just not that good for whatever reason?
I find the feel is poor (upgrade to braided hoses?) and that pedal action is awkward with my big feet, and most inportantly...
is it possible to silence the annoying warning bleeper on the clio when not wearing the belt?
...and please dont say belt up !!!!! I hate wearing belts when cruising round car parks and the like looking for spaces....the bleeper drives you nuts though.
thanks Adrian
These crimper specials i would have thought to be within range of 172/cups for a bit of baiting....at least give em a good run for the money if not actually beat em? yet to have a duel with one only had the car a week. Its always more fun taking on supposedly better cars, you cant lose really...
feel like a kid at Xmas - woke at 530 am.
hope it is worth it. Should be ready after lunch but Im gonna phone em and see if I can get my mits on it earlier.
whats the running in advice? other threads are inconclusive on the search, but the salesman when I ordered it reckoned you didnt even...
