lowered 40mm, 15" fox alloys, full mot and 6months tax 130000 miles well serviced drives really well, £1500+ of reciepts and valver interior plus all the usual rt goodies like electric windows etc.

im in the process of doing this, i have standard airbox which has been stripped of all the plastic bits inside the intake, whats the best alu ducting to use cos the halfords stuff is SO week!
pipercross cold air feed pipe looks strong and looks the biz with the anidoised ends but costs £27...
got some ktec bolts thru the post 2day, is there anyway i can adjust the camber myself? if so how do you do it accuratly, or is it best to take to a proper place to have it sorted?
for a set of camber correcting bolts from ktec inc delivery! theres gotta be a cheaper way?:confused: im running a stooopid amount of front camber and wrecking tyres gotta do sumthing quick!

std cos its how the car left the factory and they dint do all that research and development for nuffin or
lowered 40mm cos still good ride but lower C.O. gravity, or
60mm for ultimate go-cart handling?

my front tyres are down to the canvas cos the stooopid amount of camber on the front, i need 2 replace them b4 i get the camber adjusted (got steelies on the front at mo) what tyres are good but dont cost a bomb?, and does it matter ive got cheapies on the back?

ive currently got my 92 rt lowered -40mm on apex springs and std dampers, i bought an apex suspension kit (-60mm) but i dont now know if i wanna go that low cos multistoreys are already a nightmare, and i no wheelbearings and driveshafts go quicker etc etc
so options are;
1) keep springs on...
seems like its rounded off ne ideas on how to remove it? my car is a 1.4 energy, its the second one in from the drivers side, the socket wont grip it at all
1.4 8v energy, its on 131k it runs fine and well looked after how long will the bottom end hold up whats gonna break! whats the highest mileage energy on here? do engines lose power with age?
the stuff you pour into your old oil b4 you change it and is spose to clear all the crud out. is it worth it? does it work? im very sceptical bout these type of additives and stuff
rite, i took my clio in to have the wheel bearings replaced and the mechanic told me he thought the noise was the gearbox bearings.
the noise gets quieter round right hand corners and is still there with the clutch depressed, would a right/left hand bend change the noise of a gearbox...
im gettin a noise from my rt like a soft thudding noise which increases with speed and seems to be in time with the wheel rpm, ive replaced both driveshafts and wheelbearings still seem good, im running out of ideas but im thinking gearbox/various bushes? any help would be hugely appeiciated
am i right in thinking mk1 clios come with these as standard? ive fitted sum tweeters and 17cm door speakers, and they have this resister in the wire to them and was wondering if this affects the crossover? hope this makes sense!

got a puncture earlier and realised the inner part of the tyre is bald but outside still ok. the front is lowered 40mm on springs (soon to be 60mm) i know this caused it (on both sides), and i understand camber is not adjustable as standard? if i get these ktec camber bolt thingys will this sort...
the k&n replacement filter costs 10 times more than a paper jobby (for an rt) is it worth it cos im gonna be changing soon and wondered what these r like performance wise
on a non exchange basis? i tried eurocar parts etc. havnt tried renault yet cos ill get shafted, dont wanna use scrap parts cos dont trust em! unless theres a caliper rebuild set u can get? thanx 4 any help:)
