scary noise

im gettin a noise from my rt like a soft thudding noise which increases with speed and seems to be in time with the wheel rpm, ive replaced both driveshafts and wheelbearings still seem good, im running out of ideas but im thinking gearbox/various bushes? any help would be hugely appeiciated

not an expert but maybe the clutch?

Try putting it in neutral when going along to eliminate any gear box or clutch problems.

sorry forgot to say the noise stays when the clutch is in and coasting so your right it aint gearbox, clutch, engine. also its lowered 40mm front on springs the noise got gradully worse

Ditto the tyre issue - check them out and if you cant see a bubble or bulge in the thread then get down to a tyre place perhaps to see if they can balance them? You could ask them to look for a bulge as you think you may have one but cant see it? They have the machines that spin the wheels up so they can see the tyre in motion - which you cant when youre driving!

Even if it costs you £12-£15, youll either eliminate them from the equation or find out it is them and be able to get it replaced before it blows out.

i tried swappin the front tyres over with steelies and it still makes the same noise, could camber/tracking cause this noise? the cambers a mile out! gettin it sorted soon with them ktec bolts
