*** Update *** SO, Currys caved. They are accepting that it was damaged by them. MS agreed it was damaged before it was sent to them. So i have just had a pay out to buy a brand new one. :D

I was going to replace mine. But the only way to open it, was to remove the warranty sticker = no more and the N cards have 3 antennas which this only carries 2. That was my only gripe or i would have done myself.

I had one of these. Infact i had 2 of these! Both returned due to not having 802.11n Acer specs and the retailers had it listed as having it, but Acer had messed up. Is your wireless card an Atheros AR5007EG ? Wasnt too bad of a unit. Watch out for the noisy fan after a few weeks...

The words "packet tracer download free" in google gives you enough places to download it from. you dont need to register it or pay for it. was a pain to download even while i was doing CCNA, the cisco links were old!

Avoid Acer. Worst company to deal with ever when things go wrong and they normally do lol. They seem to offer a lot of tech for the money, but grab an HP, Dell or Toshiba. Have a look in Tesco Stores! some good offers on Dells etc...

I had to go thru my currys whatever happens cover policy as MS wernt going to fix it at first when i rang them. And i expected a store replacement, but currys have changed the policy since Oct stating they will go for repair now... So i just let them deal with it as it was easier. Either way...

Im thinking mine was damaged by Currys before it got sent, im sure it got "stacked" in those metal trolly things. But they are blaming MS for it....lol Find out in a few days as to whats going on. It was unmarked when i gave it to them. I NEED to play Forza 3 :(

You should only get that message a good while after your card has been sent to you and havnt changed it over.... Mine arrived, but hadnt put it in the box for about a month. Then the messages appeared. Maybe yours has got lost? Ring Skyo!
