does anyone know if there are any other front headlights for clio mk1?ones with the indicator incorporated into the headlight.why aint all of these companies making front lights instead of all the same old lexus rear lights?

yeah i swaped the plug and changed it with one of the others but it was still the same

ive sorted my dodgy idling out now on my new engine.but it only seems to be firing on three cylinders as i pull the 4th plug out and nothing seems to change,the revs dont drop.anyone know what it could be as it seems to be sparking?

I managed to sort out my idling,i turned something inside the idle valve and then put it back on and it seemed to idle ok then.

the engine will cut out when i put my finger over the pipe.i swaped the idle valve yesterday with the one off my old engine but it is still the same.

ive checked for air leaks,doesnt seem to be any.i took one of the pipes off today,i think it was the one from the idle valve to the inlet manifold.when i blocked it with my finger,the revs would drop alot.anyone know what that could mean?

I recently changed my 16v engine and have just finished wiring it all up.when i start it up,it idles at 3000 rpm and doesnt ever go down!ive checked all the hoses and sprayed the idle control valve etc,but no luck.has anyone got any advice they could give me?

on a mk1 Clio 16valve does the ECU need reseting when you change the engine?Thanks

thanks guys,ive checked everything,theres no milky substance in the oil or oil contamination in the water.the oil temp seems to go to about 120c when driving fast.i like the idea of using the bleed screws on the radiator but not quite sure how to do that at the mo.but i will try it out tomorrow.

yeah, ive got mayonnaise in the filler cap. my oil level is abit low to, gonna put some oil in it in a mo. Ive just started a car mechanics course at college, the teachers could probably do it, but its abit soon to ask as ive only met them once.

Has anyone got an AC-22, if so,is it any good? I seen it in a catalogue called potn out of redline.it tells you your 0-60 and bhp at the wheels,how does that work??

how long does it take for the hammerite paint to dry? As the foliatec paint apparently take 24 hours!

wot is every one using to paint there calipers? ive seen some kits about 4 20 quid and ive heard that you can use hammerite,is it any good? or is it best to get the kit?

ive got one on my valver, it has made very little difference except maybe abit smoother.not worth getting unless wot every1 else has said 2 adjust the fuelling.

any one know about performece flyheels for my valver?

i got a new battery for my key for the central locking, it works sometimes but not that often. ive cleaned the sensor but its still pants. Anyone got the same problem.

Yo clio owners. My 16v seems to idle very low revs sometimes and cuts out. When driving, it hesitates at low revs, but goes away when you put the foot down. Any ideas wot it could be?
