Hi, can anyone help me,I need to buy some new clocks for my 2001 phase 1, do I need to get the right millage ones or will the ecu store and use the millage from my old clocks? I've heard people say both but I'd like to know for sure before buying,and will ph2 fit and work in ph1?

i did this with a phase two plenum for my ph1 and it works absolutley perfect, you will need m6 tap and a big drill bit and also somthing to router the hole to make it smooth and big enough to fit the o ring seal.if you do this then make sure you remove any swarf/debris from the inside of your...
im no expert mate but id get them replaced, theyre not exspensive, you can buy them from k-tec not a difficult job but a fair bit to remove from your engine before you get to them.also got to be careful taking off your rocker cover,the cam can lift with it.probably best to check on here for a...
That's the cam seal and yes it does matter if it's split and sounds like you need new driveshafts,if they've been split for a while with no rings on them,which looks like the case then the cv joints will be shot and probably overheating,

I've took the cam cover off and started the engine,the dephaser is noisy and the center section not spinning centrally,I've took a video but need help to upload it,anyone know what it'll cost to get sorted? I'd be taking it to Fred at Btm hopefully once I've spoken to him.
I've got a noise from the engine that comes in at 6000rpm, it sounds like something rotating and higher pitch than the engine, only does it when driving and can't be heard while revving on the drive,I'm not exceeding 3000 rpm at the minute due to this being my daily driver
I think ktec are very good and helpful but on this occasion it clearly states increases of 12-15 bhp and 5-7bhp for the same product so they need to review it
