Collected my CTR yesterday and so pleased with experience so-far. Dealer brought the delivery forward to 1wk (after renault delayed me 2+ for front splitter) and were fine replacing a slightly chipped alloy and scratched gear knob on the spot- renault only offered to paint the wheel of gfs...

Typical...just had a call to say my car will be at dealer tomorrow and do I want it?...does it really need such drastic action to get somewhere with Renault? Pretty much hardest decision Ive had to make for a while...collect 182 tomorrow or wait even longer for a CTR, but seen as put £500 on...

yeah, would seem you were lucky, though cant understand it coz the dealer down the road has just got one with the spoliers on for a customer in the other day. Cancelled this morning the 2 I had on order (another was ordered from the factory last week as they reckoned this might arrive quicker...

Was finally (after 4 months on order) meant to be collecting 182 tomorrow, and been told that PDI not passed as front weather-shield!? ...presume cup splitter? is missing (usually in the boot) and they will not release the car without it. As none in the country, they have to order the part...

Just had update and another 7 days delay from the "holding centre"...due to not being able to cope with quantity of March cars!!? getting some compensation for insurance paying on g/fs car, but booked introduction track day through EVO on 28th March at Cadwell, so gunna have to cancel - not...

thanks for that info...worried now, but will definitely check the car all over for poss repair etc, though no expert...having said that cant imaging the Ren. boys that repair them are going to be on current experience so far, so probs stand out a mile :)

hmmm... great thought that after 4 long months wait, but certainly worth considering - story about cup owner in a.express few wks ago that had exactly that problem with repaired new one :( ...oh and like the cat suggestions...sorry to disappoint!!

Doesnt sound promising then...sure been mentioned on here that go thru customs, then onto testing place? Just have to wait and see then...cant be many more excuses before have to take delivery.

Been delayed at every stage of car leaving factory so far and now Im being told its not released from "CAT"...the testing place apparently. Does anyone know what the procedure is for getting cars thru, and if does finally get despatched how long till gets to dealer. Been at test place for over...

Missus did 120 with no hands on the wheel...and pedals infact...though car stationary fraid- after encouraged to run the diagnostic programme as mentioned last week - great fun!!!

Lucky you...mine is STILL meant to be in customs. Only ordered november!! Does Tom etc get theirs first coz pay full price or what? As given no deposit, seriously considered getting CTR instead, as no car at moment, but have decided to stick after all the reviews!

Thanks for advise Tom and Black Kro. For last 6 months the car has commuted everyday from Leeds to Manchester (40+ miles) and before that 15 miles each way, so not sure if could be a problem.

Sooo frustrating isnt it!! Mine apparently exited on 27th Jan...god knows where they go in between then and arriving at the dealers. If really is in customs now, then would seem likely to have it for 1st and can start "counting down" tomclio styleee

Just been told its in customs. Seen as the first ones to land seemed to get to dealers in 4/5days, then 1st March might be realistic, but still no CONFIRMATION :@

These sites offering 182s for £12.5k - surely they sting you with a high APR to make their money, so balances out in long run!!?? May be wrong!?

thanks for that...all I get is ..."well its exited the factory and will get a call when it arrives at the dealer"...must have gone on barge via Mexico, as was first told exited 20th Jan!!!

Has anyone got confirmation that they will receive their 182 on 1st March? Know tomclio at least is expecting his, but seen as mine was initially due end of jan, wondered if even 1st March is realistic...currently car-less and it hurts!! Should these cars now be in the country and be getting...
