Was services 3000 miles ago by a garage as the service stamp says, but unsure what was changed, may have just been oil and filter. A full service is on my list. The car has a complete service history from new and has only done 50000 miles so think it may be something minor rather than injectors...

When idling it goes between 500-750rpm, not in a regular rhythm though and is a little lumpy when cold so think something may be blocked. Will have a look at the pcv at the weekend. Will know more once I work the mpg out.

Cheers for having a look chapster! Hmm, thats confusing then. As said above maybe it is for the rheostat for diming the dash bulbs, might have a look down the scrappies to see if i can find one!

Think it could be for the stereo stalk controls? It has a non standard stereo fitted so I've no way of testing if the stalk works so wouldn't know if its connected or not

If you could do mate that would be great, its just hanging loose so either should be plugged into something or is spare and should be clipped somewhere im sure.

No ideas as to what it may be?
