I had 9 of them between age of 19-22..... My mates had novas and xr2is .... They destroyed all of them .... Mind you I went through soooo many turbos and head gaskets lol . Great fun though . Not sure I would pay that much but someone will I'm sure .
Not much , header tank seems full ( no exhaust gases coming out) no mayo in filler cap , compression normal ....... I do think it's head gasket but not 100%
Fitted my dog mount today and noticed that my gear linkage moves a lot , just wondered if this was the norm or am I going to have to do another job lol
Got a clunk whilst moving back and forward , tested it with handbrake on and as you can see the back of the engine moves quite a lot , an the clunk is clearly heard ... I'm guessing dog mount but want to be sure before buying on , also should I just change the engine mount as a matter of course...
My mate has a 2003 Clio 172 non cup , he replaced his disks and pads recently with oe renault jobbies , but he told me that when he tightened up the Callipers the disk wouldn't spin freely and was really solid , he recons he wound the piston back all the way too ........tis it !? Lol
I have replaced my shocks and springs with gen oe parts and have a low speed clunk ... In inspection I noticed that my springs were moving , so off come the struts and repositioned the springs and fitted new top mounts , I still have movement in the springs ..... Why ? I ask you ... Any better...
